This Privacy Policy describes how Aztec Software, LLC (“Aztec Software,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our websites and the software products we operate (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services or providing us your information, you agree to the practices described here.

4. SMS / Text Messaging

Certain Services offer SMS/text messaging. The messages we send are transactional and service-related — for example, account and security alerts, one-time verification codes, appointment or status notifications, and replies to your support requests. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages under this program.

  • Consent. We send SMS messages only to recipients who have opted in — by providing a mobile number and agreeing to receive texts when signing up for a product, requesting a service, or otherwise affirmatively requesting them. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
  • Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your activity and account settings.
  • Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
  • Opt-out. You can cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send a single confirmation message and will not send further texts unless you opt in again.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We share mobile information only with the service providers that help us deliver the messages (such as our SMS gateway provider), and only as needed to operate the messaging program.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers. With vendors who process information on our behalf to operate the Services — for example, hosting providers and our SMS messaging provider (Twilio) — under contracts that limit their use of the information.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Aztec Software, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business or legal purposes, after which we delete or de-identify it.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by other appropriate means.
